Pharmaceutical Sector

The broadly construed pharmaceutical sector (which, besides pharmaceutical manufacturers, includes pharmaceutical distributors and medical service providers) is subject to specific legal regulations on the way it operates.

Accordingly, in order to be able to provide advisory services to entities operating in this business sector, in addition to knowledge of general rules of Polish law, an in-depth knowledge is needed of the specific conditions affecting the pharmaceutical and medical business.

In order to offer the highest quality of services to pharmaceutical sector clients, we decided to create a special Pharmaceutical Team of experienced practitioners in this field.

This team provides advice in the following scope:

• development of marketing and promotion policies (taking into account limitations imposed by the Pharmaceutical Law and other statutes);
• formation and optimization of distribution networks (with the use of bonded warehouses); 
• optimization of investment activities;
• analysis of correctness of settlements between capital group members and their partner entities (e.g. distributors, pharmacies), taking into account the issue of transfer pricing and official margins.
