Power Sector

Our Energy Team, which provides assistance to power sector companies, has a number of years of extensive experience in advising Poland’s largest companies and has a track record of success in resolving disputes in tax proceedings and proceedings conducted before administrative courts.

• development of safe and tax efficient settlement systems for the supply of power and gas (including settlement systems between affiliates and settlements on the balancing market);
• analysis of the correctness of settlement of employee salaries (including in the scope of special tariffs for employees and collective bargaining agreements);
• on-going support in contacts with tax authorities; representation in the course of tax proceedings and court administrative proceedings; 
• tax planning and assistance in mergers, restructurings and formation of equity groups and separation of distributor network operators;
• analyzing the correctness of taxation of electrical power infrastructure.
